Install instructions

Windows

  1. ensure you are on  https://wws-haato.itch.io/haatos-diary
  2. download haatos-diary-win.zip
  3. extract all from haatos-diary-win.zip in file explorer
  4. open folder
  5. run haatos-diary.exe
    If the following warning shows "Windows Defender prevented an unrecognised app from starting":
    1. click "More Info"
    2. click "Run Anyway"

Linux

  1. ensure you are on https://wws-haato.itch.io/haatos-diary
  2. download haatos-diary-linux.zip
  3. open terminal
  4. extract files via unzip (you may need to install the unzip utility)
    1. unzip haatos-diary-linux.zip
  5. open folder
  6. run chmod +x haatos-diary.sh
  7. from now on, to start the game, run ./haatos-diary.sh


Mac OSX

  1. ensure you are on  https://wws-haato.itch.io/haatos-diary
  2. download haatos-diary-osx.zip
  3. unzip haatos-diary-osx.zip using archive utility
  4. open folder
  5. launch haatos-diary app
    If the following warning shows "haatos-diary can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer:":
    1. click haatos-diary while holding ctrl
    2. select "open" from the dropdown menu
    3. click "open"

Note: if you have installed version 1.24.12, your save files from that version will not work on 1.25.0
